About This Get Laid Beds Coffee Bean Moroccan Four Poster Turned Leg Solid Wood Bed
Four-poster beds fail for one of two reasons: the posts are too thin and look rickety, or they're too heavy and dominate a normal-sized room. These posts are turned from solid acacia and mango, which gives enough visual weight without being architectural-scale furniture. They sit right in a standard 10x12 bedroom.
The Moroccan detail is in the finial at the top of each post, not in elaborate carving across the whole frame. That restraint keeps it versatile. The posts are connected with mortise-and-tenon joints at both the headboard and footboard. Mortise-and-tenon distributes load across the wood grain rather than concentrating it at a screw or bolt, so the frame doesn't rack sideways over years of use.
