Yes. Teak (Tectona grandis) contains natural silica and oils that make it inherently weather-resistant. All pieces in our teak outdoor furniture range are additionally treated for UV and moisture resistance before leaving the factory.

Teak weathers well outdoors, gradually developing a silver-grey patina if left untreated. To retain the original golden-brown colour, apply teak oil every 6 to 12 months. Bring cushions indoors during heavy monsoon rain to prevent mildew.

Wipe with a damp cloth to remove surface dust and pollen. Apply teak oil or outdoor wood oil once a year. Scrub with a soft brush and soapy water for deeper cleaning. Avoid high-pressure washing.

Cushion inclusion is noted in the specifications. Outdoor cushions use weather-resistant fabric. Store cushions indoors during extended monsoon periods.
