Tall vertical storage in the Bangalore Sheesham range. Where the sideboards in this collection run wide and low, this unit runs tall and narrow — the format for bedrooms or living spaces where the wall span is limited but the ceiling height isn't.
Solid Sheesham frame with MDF for the back panel and internal partitions. Tall narrow cabinets are structurally demanding because the load path from top to floor is long relative to the base footprint — Sheesham's density keeps the vertical members rigid where lighter wood or composite materials would flex under load. The combination of drawers at the bottom and enclosed cabinet space above gives you different access modes: daily-use items at a comfortable reach, stored or seasonal items above. The Bangalore mid-century tapered legs keep the base open even on a tall piece, so the unit doesn't read as a solid column.

Solid Sheesham shelves support approximately 15 to 20 kg per shelf when the load is evenly distributed. For heavy items, distribute the weight across multiple shelves.
Assembly requirement is listed in the specifications. Most cabinets arrive pre-assembled or require only minor component attachment such as leg fitting.

Wipe with a dry or lightly damp cloth for daily cleaning. Avoid standing water and direct sunlight for extended periods. Apply a thin coat of raw linseed oil or furniture oil once every 12 to 18 months if the surface looks dry. Sheesham and Teak contain natural oils and do not require heavy chemical maintenance.
All Mamta Handicraft furniture carries a 36-month warranty against manufacturing defects. Every piece is also covered by lifetime termite protection, a 3-step chemical treatment applied during manufacturing at our Ratangarh factory. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, water submersion, or unauthorised modifications.
