Drawer storage in a bed frame works or doesn't based on one thing: how the drawer runner is fastened to the frame. In most lower-price storage beds, the runner is attached to MDF or particle board on both sides. The drawer loses smooth action within a year as the substrate moves with humidity. This frame is mango wood throughout. The runner mounts directly into hardwood, and the action stays consistent.
The rattan headboard is hand-woven and sits in an arched mango frame. The arch is cut from solid mango, not assembled from smaller pieces with a join at the crown. A join at the crown point is a weak spot: the arch transfers load inward from both sides, and a glued join at the peak can open under that stress. Solid cut doesn't have one.

This bed is designed for a standard Indian mattress. Standard queen size is 150 x 195 cm, king size is 180 x 195 cm, and double size is 120 x 190 cm. Always verify the internal frame dimensions in the specifications above before purchasing a mattress, as usable dimensions include a 2 to 3 cm tolerance.

Wipe with a dry or lightly damp cloth for daily cleaning. Avoid standing water and direct sunlight for extended periods. Apply a thin coat of raw linseed oil or furniture oil once every 12 to 18 months if the surface looks dry. Sheesham and Teak contain natural oils and do not require heavy chemical maintenance.

Every piece is also covered by lifetime termite protection, a 3-step chemical treatment applied during manufacturing at our Ratangarh factory. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, water submersion, or unauthorised modifications.
