Standard crib safety practice is to lower the mattress as the baby gains mobility. Start at the highest position when they can't roll. Lower it when they start pulling up to stand. Lower it again when they start trying to climb out. This crib has three positions that match those stages. The platform mounts are slot-and-bolt on solid acacia, which doesn't crack at the fastener points from repeated adjustment. Some cribs at lower price points only offer two positions because the fixing system can't handle the stress of a third. This one has all three.

Wipe with a lightly damp cloth for spills and marks. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners. Solid wood can be lightly sanded and re-oiled by a carpenter if needed, unlike MDF which cannot be repaired once the surface is compromised.

Wipe with a dry or lightly damp cloth for daily cleaning. Avoid standing water and direct sunlight for extended periods. Apply a thin coat of raw linseed oil or furniture oil once every 12 to 18 months if the surface looks dry. Sheesham and Teak contain natural oils and do not require heavy chemical maintenance.
All Mamta Handicraft furniture carries a 36-month warranty against manufacturing defects. Every piece is also covered by lifetime termite protection, a 3-step chemical treatment applied during manufacturing at our Ratangarh factory. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, water submersion, or unauthorised modifications.
