At 48 cm tall, this sits at the right height for a television on a wall bracket. Not so low that you're craning downward, not so high that the piece looks like a sideboard with a screen balanced on top. The proportions are deliberate.
Sheesham (Indian Rosewood) is the right choice for a media unit of this size. It's dense enough that the piece doesn't shift when you reach into a side cabinet. The grain runs across the drawer and door fronts in patterns that suit the mid-century tapered legs. MDF would give you the same silhouette at lower cost, and it would also swell at the back panel after two or three humid Indian summers. Sheesham doesn't do that — the natural oil content in the cellular structure keeps moisture absorption low without any applied treatment.

Wipe with a dry or lightly damp cloth for daily cleaning. Avoid standing water and direct sunlight for extended periods. Apply a thin coat of raw linseed oil or furniture oil once every 12 to 18 months if the surface looks dry. Sheesham and Teak contain natural oils and do not require heavy chemical maintenance.
All Mamta Handicraft furniture carries a 36-month warranty against manufacturing defects. Every piece is also covered by lifetime termite protection, a 3-step chemical treatment applied during manufacturing at our Ratangarh factory. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, water submersion, or unauthorised modifications.
