The Marwar Sideboard in solid Sheesham. 134 cm wide, 75 cm tall, mid-century rounded door edges and tapered legs. It's the format that works in a dining room that already has a Sheesham dining table — the grain character carries across pieces in the same wood species in a way that stained MDF furniture cannot replicate.
Sheesham (Indian Rosewood, Dalbergia sissoo) carries naturally occurring oils that give the surface inherent moisture resistance. In a dining room — where the sideboard surface takes spills, humidity from cooking, and regular wiping — that matters more than it would in a bedroom or study. The internal support panels use MDF where it adds stability without affecting the visible surfaces. What you see (the doors, the drawer fronts, the top, the sides) is solid Sheesham grain throughout.

This product is made to order by our artisans in Ratangarh, Rajasthan. Orders are dispatched within 7 to 10 business days. Delivery across India takes an additional 7 to 10 business days after dispatch.
Wipe with a dry or lightly damp cloth for daily cleaning. Avoid standing water and direct sunlight for extended periods. Apply a thin coat of raw linseed oil or furniture oil once every 12 to 18 months if the surface looks dry. Sheesham and Teak contain natural oils and do not require heavy chemical maintenance.
All Mamta Handicraft furniture carries a 36-month warranty against manufacturing defects. Every piece is also covered by lifetime termite protection, a 3-step chemical treatment applied during manufacturing at our Ratangarh factory. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, water submersion, or unauthorised modifications.
