Oslo Murphy Bench in mango wood with cane-wrapped frame panels, upholstered padded seat, and tapered legs. For bedrooms, entryways, or living rooms that need a seat that also looks considered.
The cane on the frame is part of the Oslo design language, not a cost-saving substitute for wood. It wraps the lower frame sections and breaks up what would otherwise be a visually flat piece. The tapered legs keep the bench from looking heavy even when the seat is loaded. Mango wood handles the daily stress of someone sitting and standing repeatedly without the legs gradually loosening, which is the failure mode you see in lighter softwood bench frames within a couple of years of regular use. The padded seat is firm enough to be genuinely comfortable and stable enough that you won't feel the frame flex underneath it.

This product is made to order by our artisans in Ratangarh, Rajasthan. Orders are dispatched within 7 to 10 business days. Delivery across India takes an additional 7 to 10 business days after dispatch.
Wipe with a dry or lightly damp cloth for daily cleaning. Avoid standing water and direct sunlight for extended periods. Apply a thin coat of raw linseed oil or furniture oil once every 12 to 18 months if the surface looks dry. Sheesham and Teak contain natural oils and do not require heavy chemical maintenance.
All Mamta Handicraft furniture carries a 36-month warranty against manufacturing defects. Every piece is also covered by lifetime termite protection, a 3-step chemical treatment applied during manufacturing at our Ratangarh factory. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, water submersion, or unauthorised modifications.
