Wipe with a dry or lightly damp cloth for daily cleaning. Avoid standing water and direct sunlight for extended periods. Apply a thin coat of raw linseed oil or furniture oil once every 12 to 18 months if the surface looks dry. Sheesham and Teak contain natural oils and do not require heavy chemical maintenance.

Q: What warranty does this product come with?

All Mamta Handicraft furniture carries a 36-month warranty against manufacturing defects. Every piece is also covered by lifetime termite protection, a 3-step chemical treatment applied during manufacturing at our Ratangarh factory. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, water submersion, or unauthorised modifications.

We offer a 7-day return and refund policy on all products, no questions asked. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, contact us within 7 days of delivery to initiate a return. Refunds are processed within 5 to 7 business days of the product being picked up from your address.

About This Oslo Sideboard

The Oslo Sideboard uses cane-front doors on a mango wood frame in a wide, low format. The cane panels give the piece visual lightness — a fully enclosed sideboard at this width can feel heavy in a dining room. Cane lets light pass through the front face, which keeps the piece airy despite its span.

Mango wood handles the structural requirements. The cane panels are hand-woven and set into the door frames, so the tension is held by the solid wood surround rather than relying on the weave alone to stay taut. The natural finish on the mango shows the grain through the surface rather than covering it, which means the piece improves in character over time as the wood settles and the finish develops a patina. The Oslo cane series is the collection for rooms with natural linen, rattan, or plant textures already present — this sideboard extends that material palette in a piece with real storage capacity.
