The 30 cm shelf depth is worth noting. Most flat-pack bookshelves run 20 to 25 cm deep, which means hardcovers either sit flush with the edge or hang over it slightly. At 30 cm, there's space for books stacked double or a plant placed behind a row. The 135 cm height puts the top shelf within easy reach without needing to stretch. Sheesham handles shelf load well because the grain is interlocked rather than straight, which distributes weight across the fibre differently than pine or rubberwood. The polished natural finish shows the grain variation, which makes each unit look slightly different from the next.

This product is made to order by our artisans in Ratangarh, Rajasthan. Orders are dispatched within 7–10 business days. Delivery across India takes 10–15 business days from the date of dispatch.
Wipe with a dry or lightly damp cloth for daily cleaning. Avoid standing water and direct sunlight for extended periods. Apply a thin coat of raw linseed oil or furniture oil once every 12–18 months if the surface looks dry. Sheesham and Teak are naturally oil-rich woods and do not require heavy maintenance.
All Mamta Handicraft furniture carries a 36-month warranty against manufacturing defects. Every piece is also covered by lifetime termite protection — a 3-step chemical treatment applied during manufacturing. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, water submersion, or modifications.
