About This Spain Teak Wood NS Bed
Three panels across the headboard, three across the footboard, each sitting inside its own frame with a visible reveal where the two meet. That reveal is not styling. Teak swells and shrinks with the season, so each panel floats in a groove rather than being glued down, and it can move without splitting. A single flat board this wide would crack across the grain within a few years in most Indian homes.
The headboard stands 48 inches tall, high enough to sit up against with a pillow behind you and read without your head going past the top rail. The footboard is full height and panelled to match, so the bed reads the same from the doorway as it does from the head end — worth noting, because in most bedrooms the footboard is the side you actually see first.

It arrives knock-down for DIY assembly. The headboard, footboard, side rails, and slat base bolt together; fittings and instructions are included. Two people are recommended, mainly for handling the weight of the solid teak panels.
It ships disassembled, so the largest single piece is the headboard — 72" wide for the King, 60" for the Queen, and 48" tall. It passes through standard Indian doorways of 36 inches and above when turned on its side.

Apply a thin coat of raw linseed oil or furniture oil once every 12 to 18 months if the surface looks dry. Sheesham and Teak contain natural oils and do not require heavy chemical maintenance.

Every piece is also covered by lifetime termite protection, a 3-step chemical treatment applied during manufacturing at our Ratangarh factory. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, water submersion, or unauthorised modifications.
