The upholstered headboard is padded fabric on a solid wood backing, not fabric stapled to MDF. That matters after two years: MDF-backed headboards lose their shape as the substrate compresses. This one holds because the structure behind the upholstery is solid acacia. The joint between the wood frame and the padded panel stays clean because the substrate doesn't give.

This bed is designed for a standard Indian mattress. Standard queen size is 150 x 195 cm, king size is 180 x 195 cm, and double size is 120 x 190 cm. Always verify the internal frame dimensions in the specifications above before purchasing a mattress, as usable dimensions include a 2 to 3 cm tolerance.

Wipe with a dry or lightly damp cloth for daily cleaning. Avoid standing water and direct sunlight for extended periods. Apply a thin coat of raw linseed oil or furniture oil once every 12 to 18 months if the surface looks dry. Sheesham and Teak contain natural oils and do not require heavy chemical maintenance.

Every piece is also covered by lifetime termite protection, a 3-step chemical treatment applied during manufacturing at our Ratangarh factory. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, water submersion, or unauthorised modifications.
