About This Wooden Cane Lounge Chair
The cane back panel on this lounge chair is the visible detail, but the mango wood frame is the reason it holds up. Cane lounge chairs in cheaper frame materials tend to develop seat rail looseness within 12 to 18 months of regular use because the frame can't carry the lateral forces from someone sitting down heavily at an angle. Mango wood doesn't compress at the joint fastener points, so the rail stays tight. The chair feels the same getting up on year three as it did on day one.
At L 24 x W 22.5 x H 28 in (61 x 57 x 71 cm), this chair sits lower than a standard dining chair, which is the right height for a reading corner or accent seating position where you want to be lower than guests standing nearby. The cushion is soft-fill and removable. The cane panel behind it provides passive airflow that a fully upholstered back doesn't.

All dining chairs in our range sit at a standard 43 to 45 cm seat height, which pairs correctly with any 75 to 76 cm height dining table. Measure your existing table height to confirm compatibility.
Solid wood legs can mark polished marble or tile floors without protection. Rubber or felt floor pads (not included) on all legs are recommended. These are available at any hardware store.
This product is made to order by our artisans in Ratangarh, Rajasthan. Orders are dispatched within 7 to 10 business days. Delivery across India takes an additional 7 to 10 business days after dispatch.
Wipe with a dry or lightly damp cloth for daily cleaning. Avoid standing water and direct sunlight for extended periods. Apply a thin coat of raw linseed oil or furniture oil once every 12 to 18 months if the surface looks dry. Sheesham and Teak contain natural oils and do not require heavy chemical maintenance.
All Mamta Handicraft furniture carries a 36-month warranty against manufacturing defects. Every piece is also covered by lifetime termite protection, a 3-step chemical treatment applied during manufacturing at our Ratangarh factory. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, water submersion, or unauthorised modifications.
