About This Oslo Croxley Rattan Bed
The Croxley version of the Oslo adds rattan to the headboard and keeps everything else the same. That's the right approach. Rattan headboards that come with elaborate matching footboards, side rails, and carved frame details lose the point of the material. Rattan reads well because it's light against a solid wood frame. The Croxley lets that contrast do the work.
The mango frame is painted in a tone that sits between cream and natural wood. That makes the rattan headboard the warmest element in the piece, which draws the eye without competing with the rest of the room. The hand-woven panel is mounted flush with the headboard frame, not raised, so there's no shadow gap between the weave and the wood at close range.
